Hubert Konik is Assistant Professor (1st class) of University Jean Monnet, member of the laboratory Hubert Curien, the largest CNRS research laboratory of this University. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Image Processing in 1994 on pyramidal approaches for the segmentation of textured images. His research interests are focused on image processing and analysis, more particularly content aware image processing for new services and usages. In this field, he was co-director of manye PhD students, some in collaboration with companies.
He manages at Télécom Saint-Etienne (engineer school from this University and associated to Mines-Telecom Institute) a work-linked training in apprenticeship entitled “Image & Photonics, smart-industries”.
