SCIENTIFIC MODULE INSTRUCTOR
Elisa Fromont is associate professor in Computer Science and Head of the Machine Learning project in the Data Intelligence team of the laboratory Hubert Curien. Her research focuses on data mining (pattern mining, graph mining, clustering under constraints, inductive databases) and computer vision (image classification, full semantic scene labelling, object tracking in videos). She defended her “Habilitation to supervise researches” (HDR) in December 2015.
She manages the first year of the French Master program “Web Intelligence”. She coordinates the ANR SOLSTICE (2014-2017) research project on design of new models and tools for representing and managing images and videos and is involved in the ANR LIVES (2016-2020) on learning with Interacting ViEwS.
