You’ve been selected to the European Computer Summer School! Congratulations!
Here are the steps you need to undertake to be able to join us:
0. Certificate of admission / letter of invitation
You should have received a soft copy of this letter along with the notification of the selection outcome. If this is not the case, please contact us. Note that this letter of invitation serves as certificate of residence as well, as the residence you will stay at is state on the document. In case the relevant authorities expressly request an original copy of this document, please let me know your postal address.
Please let us know as soon as possible, by email, that you are ready to join the Summer School. Let us know if you have special needs (disabilities, special diet, …).
2. Apply to a short-stay “Schengen” visa (“visa C”)
Please get in touch with the French Embassy / Consulate nearest to your current place of residence to list down supporting documents needed to apply for short-stay visas (“Schengen visas”), if applicable. Do not delay application to the French visa, as this can take up to 2 month in some countries. Do not hesitate to give my contact details to the French embassy / consulate to support your application in case they need some clarifications.
