Co-finance and increase your PhD offer
The main objective for University Jean Monnet is to identify, during the summer school, most promising graduate students to offer, in liaison with their home institution abroad, PhD opportunities under the framework of the French mechanism “International Cotutelle of thesis ” that promotes mobility among doctoral candidates while encouraging scientific cooperation between French and foreign research teams. Candidates conduct their research under the oversight of, and with guidance from, a dissertation adviser from each of the 2 countries involved in the program.
Diversify your outgoing mobility portfolio
This summer school offer a very good value-for money learning opportunity for students, notably in countries where abroad mobility is compulsory and subsidized by Higher Education institutions.
A first step in cooperation with a European leading teaching and research network
The European consortium of university and industries managing the summer school welcome further cooperation agreements with institutions sending students with outstanding background.
Benefit from the pull of participants to raise your international profile
The summer school will be promoted through a targeted online campaign of activities (website, social media) prior to the event. Logos of institutions / departments promoting the event will be included if they wish so.
